Sunset Vineyard Walks with Wine & Cheese
Saturdays 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th April 2019
April is full of possibilities, with Twisted Gum Wines at Ballandean offering four Saturdays of leisurely sunset strolls through their picturesque, hand tended vineyard. Admire the rich autumn colours of the vines set among stunning granite boulders and impressive twisted gum trees, while learning about the sustainable vineyard practices that are used.
Then return to their stylish cellar door (in a classic 1920s Queenslander) to enjoy a guided tasting of single vineyard, dry grown Twisted Gum Wines matched with artisan cheeses on the veranda as the sunsets. Pure bliss!
There is a strict limit of 20 persons per walk, so book early to avoid disappointment.

2019 Harvest Dinner
Saturday 13th April
Celebrate Harvest 2019 at Summit Estate near Stanthorpe this April with a spectacular dinner and wines served as the sun sets over the vineyard.
From 4pm, enjoy an evening in the vineyard with barrel tasting and later an open campfire (weather permitting). Professional event decor provided by Peta Murphy Warwick Weddings & Events will set the stunning backdrop to an evening of fine food by Claudia Sibley “Sibley Delicious”.

Chamber Ensemble, Swing & Concert Bands at ‘Swigmore Hall’
Dates and details have now been released for the 2019 season of concerts to be held in ‘Swigmore Hall’, Robert Channon Wines near Stanthorpe. The ever popular concert series features eight concerts spanning April to October, with entertainment varying across chamber music, Baroque opera, a virtuoso piano recital, an orchestral concert, swing and concert bands and jazz.

Opera in the Vineyard

Opera In the Vineyard is a black tie charity event held on the first weekend in May each year in the spectacular vineyards of Ballandean Estate Wines. Opera in the Vineyard attracts up to 1800 people each year providing an intoxicating mix of music, wine, food and an unforgettable time. The event organisers Ballandean Estate Wines and the Rotary Club of Stanthorpe have donated almost a million dollars to charity since the events inception.
Opera in the Vineyard offers a number of experiences to suit each guest:
a) Lunch and Opera: a sumptuous sit down lunch followed by Opera in the open air amphitheatre
b) Opera and Dinner: arrive in time for the opera and stay for the Gala Dinner Dance to dance the night away
c) All Day: arrive for lunch and stay until the band stops playing at the end of the night
d) Opera Only: Spend 3.5 hours mesmerised by the music, the view and the wine.

Don’t miss Autumn’s hottest event ticket on the Granite Belt, when 10 award-winning wineries offer 2 days of lazy grazing across the Granite Belt! Spend Saturday on the hop-on hop-off bus visiting the participating venues and enjoying the wines on offer, as well as indulging in the wonderful meals prepared with local ingredients by our food artisans.
On Sunday, join us for Breakfast with the Winemakers before venturing out on your own to use up any vouchers you have left at the participating venues.
Tickets include 4 x Food Vouchers, 4 x Wine Vouchers, 1 x Breakfast with the Winemakers Ticket and the hop-on hop-off bus on Saturday.
