Granite Belt Zoom Wine Tastings with a ‘Master of Wine’

Taste 12 Granite Belt wines together with live commentary and winemaker interviews hosted by Master of Wine, Andrew Corrigan via Zoom.

Andrew Corrigan MW (Master of Wine) is hosting four fortnightly Granite Belt zoom wine tastings on Wednesday evenings.  Participants from around Australia pre-ordering the wines will have the 12 wines ready to taste at home, to enjoy accompanied by Andrew’s free of charge expert commentary.

Participants will also meet the winemakers, as Andrew interviews live three winemakers each session, according to which three wines are being tasted that evening.  Zoom participants are invited to not only watch and listen in, but are also invited to ask Andrew questions.

About Andrew Corrigan MW

Andrew Corrigan MW has been a wine educator for over 30 years. As a Master of Wine, he has a unique understanding of wine and able to guide others through the exciting and sometimes complex world of wine.

Andrew has been fascinated by food and wine from a young age. He became a Master of Wine after passing the rigorous exams of the London based Institute of Masters of Wine. Master of Wine is recognised as the highest achievement in the global wine community. Those who have attained the qualification are equipped with a unique understanding of and set of skills for dealing with all aspects of the business of wine.

He spent many years full time in the wine trade. He has been involved in restaurant ownership and management and has consulted on several award winning wine lists. Andrew is a part owner of an Australian wine estate, Hidden Creek Winery and Catalyst. He has been published in magazines and newspapers in Australia and internationally. He is known as an excellent wine educator and presents regularly in Australia as well as at international seminars for the Masters of Wine.
