After nearly 20 years of selling wines wholesale, Ambar Hill is opening its winery for the first time to the public for the September school holidays (19 September to Monday 5 October 2020)

To celebrate, Ambar Hill is releasing limited amounts of museum stocks previously held for restaurants that have had them on their wine lists. All are medal winners. They include a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot from 2006; a shiraz from 2007 that was 5 stars from Winestate and was featured in their Australian wines of the year list and a 2008 trophy winning Shiraz.

All are drinking superbly and reflect Ambar Hill’s philosophy of producing high quality wines that will develop with age.

Ambar Hill is having tastings and selling from the winery a special museum release dozen as an introduction at a bargain $120.

“The closure of restaurants because of Covid19 has caused a refocus of the winery and we want to introduce our wines to a new audience” said owner Graham Dalton.

Also available for sale and tasting is Ambar Hill’s most recent classical Chardonnay and the recently bottled 2019 Samuel Bailey, a premium wine from the vineyard’s cabernet sauvignon/ merlot/ cabernet Franc.
