We have 14 cabins on site all air conditioned, and fully equipped to ensure your stay is as comfortable as a possible.

Whilst not all our cabins are self contained we do have a very well maintained and modern amenity block.

If unavailable please remember we also have powered and un powered camping sites over looking the beautiful park land and Dam.

Established for over 26 years the Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park has become a home away from home for anglers and families from all over. In the kiosk Debbie provides a selection of lures and spinner baits for sale with dam track records.

Q About the Dam

Glenlyon Dam is situated at the western edge of the Granite Belt (97km west of Stanthorpe & 67km from Tenterfield).

Glenlyon Dam is a moderate sized lake of 1800 ha holding 254 000 ML of water at an average depth of 4.3m.

Dam level is variable as water is used for irrigation and recreational purposes. Irrigational season is between Oct through to March.

All fishing at Glenlyon dam is recreational, and the main species are yellowbelly and Murray cod, with plenty of silver perch and catfish sharing the water. Fishing is done using both bait and lures , and brings the parks customers from near and far to hook a catch.
