Granite Highlands Maxi Tours
Granite Highlands Maxi Tours do Day Tours of wineries with pick-up from your accommodation, stopping at 5-6 wineries and lunch included for $95 per person. If you can’t get away for the weekend, they even have Day Tours options with pick-up from Brisbane, Toowoomba, Warwick, Dalby and Goondiwindi for as little as $100 per person (cost varies on group size and pick-up location and minimum group sizes apply). Filippo’s Tours offer a Wine Lovers Day Tour and also a Wine & Beer Lovers Day Tour for groups, including 2 course lunch for $110 per person. For a little extra indulgence, Twilight Tours run on Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm and include visits to wineries, local places of intense and a 3 course dinner from $160 per person. Wine Discovery Tours
Wine Discovery Tours specialise in luxury small group tours, which include in addition cellar door stop, also a two course gourmet lunch matched with wines at the world-class Varias Restaurant at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. A Luxury Lodge!
If you’re aiming for top luxury for the girls, paired with a fantastic space to hang out and chat, it’s hard to go past Diamondvale Lodge (pictured above). This 4 bedroom luxury homestead is set in the quiet of bushland on the outskirts of Stanthorpe. If you’ve got a larger group, you can also book the Diamondvale Cottages which just a few minutes walk by the creekside away.
A Gorgeous B&B all to Yourself
Another luxury spot where you can have the place to have all to yourselves is Grovely House B&B in Stanthorpe that caters for up to 10 adults. Stanthorpe’s Honeysuckle Cottages love hosting groups and it’s a handy spot to choose because they have their own restaurant venue onsite for meeting up and have a few drinks, or just to use a free space to hang out and unwind before you go off to your cottages at night. Ridgemill Estate are experts at tailoring your group’s visit to meet your needs, with extra options available including celebration cakes, gourmet bbq packs and private wine tastings – view their Added Delights options. There’s plenty of space to stay in their 8 luxury studio cabins, plus a 3 bedroom house onsite, all overlooking the vineyards at this winery, just 5 minutes outside of Stanthorpe. You’ll love their communal undercover bbq area and picnic settings under the trees for gathering with the girls.

Your Own Farmhouse – it’s Huge!
James Farmhouse is a really affordable option for a large group wanting to be all in together. It’s an old farmhouse right in the heart of Ballandean, just a walk to the Tavern for dinner and surrounded by wineries. There’s stacks of bedroom and single beds and a large living area.

Beanbags and Wine at Sunset!
How does this sound?… the girls sinking in to bean bags, drinking wine and watching the sun set over the vineyard! This idyllic setting is on offer each Friday and Saturday at the Summit Estate Sunset Sessions! It’s a relaxed afternoon that runs into the evening and you’re welcome to bring your own picnic, order takeaway and bring along your own games (think bocce, or other lawn games).

An ideal lunch or brunch spot is Jamworks Gourmet Foods, 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe.
Go strawberry picking in the patch and finish with a strawberry waffle or ice cream at Ashbern Farms, yum!
Fudge, Olives and Wine all in one spot at Mason Wines between Balladean and Stanthorpe.
If nothing but a bit of live music is going to create the right mood for your girls getaway, the Stanthorpe RSL Club has live music every Friday night from 7.30pm and a courtesy bus operates Wednesday through to Saturday in the Stanthorpe town area. It’s a top spot to grab a meal to suit any tastes in the bistro at lunch or dinner – check out the menu.
