Promoting an event in the Granite Belt region? Here’s some tips from our Monique Krause, our Granite Belt Wine & Tourism Marketing Coordinator…
List Your event on thE ATDW
Create a listing for your event on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse.
It’s FREE and it gets you on all these websites:
(TIP: have at least one large photo ready to upload and make sure it’s one single photo with no words or logos on your listing will be rejected by ATDW)
Create a Facebook event
Create a Facebook event (from as your business page, not you as a person).
(TIP: invite @granitebeltwinecountry to co-host it so our followers see the event too)
More SOCIAL MEDIA ideas…
Create a few different posts about your event on your social media. Perhaps a video of you talking about the event. Post some beatiful photos describe the event. Do a post to announce tickets are on sale or do a ‘1 month to go’ post.
Do an Instagram story about your event and in the ‘stickers’ to add on your story choose the link one so you can insert in the story a direct with a link to your event on your website or tickets.
Check the reach and engagement of your social media posts and put $50 towards “boosting” whichever post was the most popular.
