The Folly Truffles

Overview

The Folly is Queensland’s first commercial truffle farm, situated in Ballandean, Queensland, at the heart of Granite Belt Wine Country. The Folly welcome visitors to the truffiere with tours available all year round, and truffle hunts during harvest season (June to August). As it is a working farm, bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Tours (and seasonal hunts) commence with a walk and talk through the truffiere where guides Maple and Ben will explain the whole process of truffle farming, from planting, to paddock to plate. Upon conclusion of the tour, lunch and a wine tasting is included down the road, at The Church: Local Wine Project.
