Boireann is one of the prettiest vineyards in the Granite Belt. The vines are nestled in a small valley surrounded by huge granite boulders, which inspired the name (gaelic for “rocky place”). Our altitude of 875 metres above sea level provides a cool climate, and the wines display typical characters of pepper and spice with intense varietal flavours.

We have a diverse vineyard with numerous “Strange Birds”, including Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Barbara, Mourvèdre and Tannat.

Boireann holds a James Halliday 5 red star rating and is included in his Top 100 Australian Wineries.
