- Make your way to the top of Mt Marlay and use the free binoculars to see across Stanthorpe. Take the short walk around the summit.

- Follow the Quart Pot creekside walk in Stanthorpe to the ‘Red’ Bridge.

- Feed the ducks along Quart Pot Creek (duck feed available at Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre).
- Bring your rod and fish at the grassy banks along Quart Pot Creek in Stanthorpe.
- Get hands-on with free leather stamping at Kent Saddlery (available on the verandah during store open times) and feed their animals.
- Get a photo ‘holding up’ the Ballandean Pyramid.
- Jump on board a steam train from Warwick to Stanthorpe (monthly).
- Cross Bald Rock Creek and walk under the Granite Arch in Girraween National Park (30 mins walk great for families).
- Visit a winery… yes you heard us right! Many cellar doors have great spaces for the kids to hang out on the lawn, such as Balancing Heart Vineyard and Summit Estate. Kids love to feed the goats at Ridgemill Estate, play the pianola at Heritage Estate or play a game of bocce at Jester Hill Wines.
- Go for a shot bushwalk through granite boulders right in Stanthorpe itself at Sentimental Rocks.
- Check the dates for apple picking weekends at Nicoletti Orchards (February to May) and apple & strawberry picking events at Eastern Colour.
- Pick your own strawberries Fri to Sun (October to May) at Ashbern Farms or at monthly events at Eastern Colour.
