Apple & Grape Harvest Season on the Granite Belt
February – April
Average Temperature
8.8 – 21.9°C
Come autumn, harvest mode is in full swing with apples and grapes ripe and ready to be picked and crushed on the Granite Belt.
Our first grapes are harvested mid-February and by March all wineries are busily harvesting and crushing for new vintage wines.
With the arrival of harvest, comes the first shades of autumn gold appearing in the vineyards which intensify through April and early May as grape harvest comes to an end.
